On September 18th, 2009, in SUNWAY Hotel, Hanoi, the meeting  "Journalists, enterprises and energy saving activities 2009" (2nd round) has been taken place and organized jointly by Ho Chi Minh City’s Energy Saving Center, Project Management Unit (PMU) of the “Improving the energy efficiency use in small and medium enterprises (PECSME)” Project and  Ho Chi Minh City Power Company. 

Representatives of ceramics, bricks, textiles, food processing, pulp and paper producition companies, beverage business companies, buildings that winning the high awards in the contest " Energy efficiency buildings "; representatives of specialized units responsible for activities in the field of energy; representatives of press and media agencies in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, the reporters and journalists, who  for many years closely link with energy saving activities (Energy Efficiency), authors winning the high award  "Communication on energy saving” joined the  panel discussion. The meeting  aimed to introduce broadly the energy saving solutions, typical buildings, factories with energy saving; the support program  and financial consultancy for public, communication & press agencies, expecially in providing the  information about energy, energy saving. This is also the opportunity to associate the enterprises, journalists and state management agencies in order to implement in the best way the guidelines and policies on energy saving use and efficiency.
